How Does Natural Confidence Eliminate My Fears?

Unfortunately, almost everyone is conditioned to fear four situations that you need to be fearless about in order to have the highest levels of success.

We need to be able to face…

• criticism and judgment
• not meeting others’ expectations
• rejection
• being the center of attention

…all without fear in order to achieve everything we want in life.

When I say “conditioned” what I mean is that a situation produces fear automatically before you get a chance to think about it. The fear isn’t caused by a belief, in fact, a conditioned fear will persist even when you’ve eliminated all 19 of the core beliefs in my program. That’s why I had to add the modules on eliminating negative conditioning.

Here’s an example of conditioning.

Did you ever hear about Pavlov’s dogs?

Pavlov was a Russian scientist who did a very interesting experiment with some of our canine friends. He would ring a bell, then show the dogs food and the dogs would salivate. Then before their next feeding he’d ring the bell again, then show the dogs food. And the dogs would salivate again. After doing this several times he next rang the bell and did not feed the dogs.

And guess what?

The dogs salivated anyway.

They’d been conditioned to salivate when a bell was rung.

Unfortunately this happens to people as well.

If people experience painful criticism or judgment when they are young, they will tend to fear criticism when they are older.

If they experience painful consequences when they are the center of attention, they’ll fear attention as an adult.

And if they feel threatened when they are rejected early in life, they’ll fear rejection later in life.

Most people live with these painful scars from the past for their entire lives. Because these fears are not caused by beliefs, no amount of positive thinking or intellectual understanding can reduce the burden.

However, these fears can be de-conditioned with the de-conditioning modules in Natural Confidence .

How You Can Be Sure Natural Confidence Will Work For You (Scientific Proof)

I’ve often wondered, and maybe you have too, what percentage of people will be helped by any personal growth program.

So when scientists at the University of Arizona said they wanted to study my methods to see if they “really worked” I jumped at the chance.

They decided to study how well my approach would help people with a common problem—fear of public speaking—which is often a problem of low confidence.

They brought together 36 members of Toastmasters who had a very intense fear of public speaking. They divided them into groups A and group B.

Group A spoke in public weekly at Toastmasters meetings.

Group B spoke weekly as well but was also exposed to the methods found in Natural Confidence .

After just a few weeks both groups spoke in public for a final “test.” And guess what? Group A’s fear was almost the same as it had been before. Group B—exposed to my methods—had almost no fear!

And just to be sure that the techniques found in Natural Confidence really produced the change, Group A was also exposed to my methods. When they next spoke in public they had virtually the same results as Group B.
